The AJ Royal Lamp, designed by Arne Jacobsen for Louis Poulsen in 1957, is a classic example of modern Danish lighting design. Originally created for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, the lamp embodies Jacobsen’s signature minimalism and architectural precision. Its distinctive dome-shaped shade, paired with a louvered interior that softens and directs light downward, creates a warm and glare-free ambience.
