The ‘Profile’ armchair by Folke Ohlsson for DUX is an iconic example of mid-century Scandinavian design. Introduced in the 1950s, the chair features a sleek teak frame with elegantly sculpted armrests and a refined, organic silhouette. The combination of clean lines and all-over upholstery characterizes Ohlsson’s signature blend of comfort and modern simplicity.

The interior has been completely renovated, while the exterior is adorned with premium wool fabric from Maharam.

Folke Ohlsson was a trailblazer in the “knock-down” furniture revolution, helping to popularize the innovative flat-pack method of manufacturing and shipping. As a key figure in introducing Scandinavian modern design to the United States, he was an internationally recognized designer known for creating stylish pieces that remain highly sought after by collectors today.
