Luciano Cesaro

Luciano Cesaro was an Italian lighting designer best known for his work during the late 1970s and 1980s, a period strongly influenced by Space Age and postmodern design trends.

He collaborated with the lighting manufacturer Tre Ci Luce, where he created a series of sculptural and futuristic lamps that explored bold geometric forms and innovative uses of glass and metal. His designs often emphasize visual drama and architectural presence as much as functional illumination.

Although not as widely documented as some of his contemporaries in Italian industrial design, Cesaro’s work has gained renewed attention in the vintage design market, where pieces like the “Alien” lamp are now regarded as collectible examples of Italian Space Age lighting.
