The AX Easy Chair is a celebrated example of Danish mid-century design by architects Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen. Originally designed in the mid-20th century, the design is renowned for its innovative molded laminated wood construction, combining sculptural elegance with exceptional comfort. Its graceful curves and streamlined silhouette embody the timeless sophistication and craftsmanship of Scandinavian modernism.

This set has been carefully restored, with the original frames refinished in a deep black lacquer that accentuates the chair’s striking architectural form. Both the front and back are newly upholstered in Pierre Frey’s luxurious La Sorgue fabric, whose graphic pattern creates a bold and contemporary contrast against the dark frame.

Elegant, comfortable, and visually distinctive, these AX Easy Chairs are iconic pieces that seamlessly bridge classic Danish design and modern interiors.
