These sculptural wall lamps were designed and manufactured in Italy, during the 1960s. The design combines an architectural arrangement of textured glass and brass with striking polychrome elements, reflecting experimental approach to decorative lighting during this period.

Each lamp is constructed from a layered composition of elongated rectangular glass panels arranged vertically at different heights. The panels are framed by brass, creating a strong linear structure and giving the lamps their characteristic architectural appearance. The textured surfaces of the glass refract the light and create subtle variations in transparency and tone when illuminated.

Across the centre, curved polychrome elements in deep red and green introduce a contrasting geometric pattern. Their rounded forms interrupt the predominantly vertical composition and add depth and colour to the design. Together with the warm brass and textured glass, these elements create a rich interplay of materials without compromising the clarity of the overall construction.

The staggered arrangement gives the lamps a pronounced sculptural quality, with overlapping planes and varying heights creating depth both when illuminated and when switched off. Light passes through the textured and coloured sections differently, producing a warm and atmospheric effect against the wall.
