A refined example of Florence Knoll’s architectural approach to furniture design, the Model 2530-3 two-seat bench combines clean modernist lines with balanced proportions and exceptional craftsmanship. Produced by De Coene in Kortrijk for Knoll International, the piece reflects the precision and understated elegance that define mid-century European modernism.

The frame has been newly chromed, restoring the crisp and reflective character of the original design while enhancing its sculptural architectural appearance. Newly upholstered cushions in Maharam’s iconic Monk’s Wool fabric add warmth, texture, and visual depth through the rich black and white woven textile.

The combination of polished chrome, strong geometric lines, and tactile upholstery creates a sophisticated balance between modernist restraint and inviting comfort. Timeless, elegant, and highly versatile, this bench remains a striking addition to both modern and classic interiors.

This specific bench was made under license by De Coene for Knoll in Kortrijk, Belgium in the 1960s.

The bench is in excellent vintage condition, newly reupholstered in high-quality fabric with a solid and newly chromed frame.
