Who doesn’t feel like a boss in this Saarinen-designed chair? For over 70 years, this piece (model 72) has been popular in executive board offices and residential interiors. This design instantly upgrades any dining room. The organically shaped chair is upholstered in turquoise micro bouclé by Dedar with an all-new foam interior. The chair asks to be cuddled.
Eero Saarinen was a Finnish-American architect and furniture designer best known for designing the now-called TWA Flight Center in New York City and the Womb Chair (designed in 1947). Knoll took all Saarinen chairs into production and became highly successful internationally.
One of the chair’s leg frames stands out slightly more to the front side, probably due to a previous restoration.

Eero Saarinen
Eero Saarinen (1910–1961) was a Finnish-American architect and designer whose visionary work helped define the language of modern design in the mid-20th century. Educated at the Cranbrook Academy of Art alongside contemporaries such as Charles and Ray Eames and Florence Knoll, Saarinen shared a belief in the unity of architecture, furniture, and form.
