Glass Table Lamp
by Giorgio Reggiori for Gallotti & Radice, Italy, 1970s
A refined example of Italian glass design from the 1970s, this table lamp by Giorgio Reggiori for Gallotti & Radice showcases a striking architectural composition. Vertical panels of thick, green-tinted glass frame a central frosted diffuser, creating a rhythmic interplay of transparency, depth, and light.
The layered construction enhances the lamp’s sculptural presence, while the softly illuminated core produces a warm, atmospheric glow. Both minimalist and expressive, the design reflects the precision and material sensitivity characteristic of Gallotti & Radici’s glass production during the period.
A timeless modernist piece that functions equally as ambient lighting and sculptural object.
