Vierkante salontafel uit de jaren ’50

A refined mid-century coffee table in the style of Florence Knoll, executed in beautifully grained teak with elegant brass details and a strong architectural presence. The design reflects the restrained sophistication and functional clarity that defined American modernism during the 1950s and 1960s.

The clean geometric silhouette is balanced by subtle luxurious details, creating a piece that feels both minimal and warm. A removable teak lid reveals an integrated storage compartment beneath, adding a practical and intelligent functionality to the otherwise sculptural form. The layered construction and open compartment create a sense of depth and visual lightness, while the slender black legs enhance the floating architectural appearance of the table.

Warm teak tones are complemented by refined brass accents, introducing a subtle contrast that elevates the understated design. Carefully proportioned and timeless in character, this coffee table works beautifully within both modernist and contemporary interiors.

A sophisticated and highly versatile piece, combining functional design, architectural simplicity and timeless mid century elegance.
