Oval Mirror
by Hillebrand, Germany, 1970s
A striking example of 1970s German design, this oval wall mirror by Hillebrand features an integrated lighting system set behind the mirror surface and a clear plexiglass decorative frame. When switched on, the built-in lights cast a warm, soft glow that enhances the mirror’s presence and creates ambient illumination, ideal for bathrooms, hallways, or living spaces.
Crafted in Germany during the 1970s, the piece exemplifies the era’s blend of functional lighting and minimalist form. Its versatile oval shape can be mounted vertically or horizontally, making it both a practical everyday object and a distinctive vintage design accent.
