Rob Parry Lotus Arm Chair 2 (coming soon)

Design: 1960

This vintage Lotus Chair was designed in the 1960s by Dutch designer Parry. Its geometrical lines and rectangle shape give it a timeless look that still fits perfectly in contemporary interiors. Freshly painted armrests in deep black combined with original elements such as the brass bar (on the backside) and tensioning straps keep the character of the overall design. Reupholstered in an asymmetrical check fabric from Gastón Y Daniela in a cream/emerald green color palette.

Parry is one of the most renowned industrial designers in The Netherlands during the 1960-90s. His work extends not only to furniture but also to interiors, exhibitions, and jewelry. One of his most influential mentors was Gerrit Rietveld. This is visible through his clear use of elegant lines and choice of material.
